About the Coach

Amy is a leadership coach with a track record of helping clients build their leadership capacity and grow their organizations. As CEO of Next Game Plan, she coaches senior and emerging global leaders and their teams in a variety of functional roles in the corporate, professional services, government, and nonprofit sectors in engagements that have ranged from short-term assignments to multi-year relationships. For 6 years Amy led Vistage CEO peer advisory boards helping CEOs work together to solve their most pressing problems. She has coached dozens of C-suite executives of companies ranging from small businesses to billion-dollar organizations. Amy also serves as an executive coach for the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, working with MBA students in Wharton’s Executive Coaching and Feedback Program, and has served as visiting faculty for PwC’s Genesis Park global leadership development program.

Amy’s coaching philosophy is informed by her unique combination of a Wharton MBA, Master’s Degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins, and Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown.  Beyond her education, Amy brings to each client engagement fifteen years of experience coaching individuals and teams and the lessons learned from twenty-five years of leadership experience in the corporate and non-profit sectors.  She is not afraid to dive in, help her clients understand the core of any issue, and create a pathway to success.

Personal

Amy lives in the Washington, DC area with her family.  She is a founding member of the Wharton Club of the National Capital Region and a member of the DC Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, boating, reading, and fitness.

Amy’s strengths are her enthusiasm for the art and science of coaching; having a wealth of resources that she can bring to the picture as job aids; reflecting back what is being shared, but doing it in a way that expands my own interpretation of things and offering up alternative scenarios — helping me to figure out how to get to those alternative scenarios.
